Heavy equipment industry has to do with to heavy-duty vehicles, specially designed primarily for executing construction tasks. Most frequently these tasks involve earthwork operations or lifting heavy items. Pieces of equipment are usually made up of five different equipment systems: 1. implement, traction, 2. structure, 3. power train, 4. control and 5. information. Most heavy equipment works by the application of the mechanical advantage of a simple machine, the ratio between input force applied and force exerted is multiplied. Many different types of plastics are used to aid in making these simple machines do not so simple things with less wear and tear.
