Vulcanized Fiber is pure base cellulose that has no resin or bonding agent however it still delivers a durable and hard material. The material can offer physical properties such as abrasion and impact resistance, ability to resist tearing yet still be fabricated using a diverse array of processes. Vulcanized Fiber is also available in electrical grades, also known as Fish Paper. The unique properties of Fish Paper allow it to be used in demanding electrical applications that also require a light weight products that is till resistant to heat and cold versus other similar materials. Applications for Vulcanized Fiber/Fish Paper include insulating plates, electrical motor insulation, gaskets, patterns, fuse tubes, circuit breakers, rail track insulation, motor contact bushings and lighting arresters.
