Plastics International (PI) was founded in 1985 by brothers Paul and Dave Carter. Their vision was to have the ability to meet a wide range of customer specific requirements, and become one of the largest, most diversified plastic stocking distributors in the United States. 

Over time, the company has grown from a 1,500 square foot operation, to a 50,000+ square foot warehouse. The employee base (and tenure) has grown along with the business. PI has decades and decades of expertise in plastic, and is fortunate to still have the very first individual hired as part of the team. They have also added a few family members from the next generation.  

Despite changes over the years, PI remains family-owned, and has continued to pride themselves on some key principals: 

• Material is sourced from a variety of high quality suppliers, many of whom have been partners for 35+ years
• Cut-to-size and cut-to-thickness requirements are business as usual thanks to a robust set of machine capabilities and a vacuum operated flycutter (check out a video of the flycutter in action here)
