Grade L Linen Phenolic feature multiple layers of linen fused together. These layers contain phenolic resins that undergo polymerization when exposed to heat and pressure. The result is a durable, lightweight material. L Phenolic has high machinability, superior mechanical properties, and excellent strength and stiffness. It is compliant with MIL-I-24768/15 (FBI) and NEMA L. Common applications include spacers, electrical insulating components, gears, rollers, and general mechanical applications.
