PTFE 25% CARBON MOLDED
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is chemically inert, weatherable, has excellent electrical insulation, high temperature resistance, a low coefficient of friction and non-adhesive properties. 25% Carbon filled PTFE has improved dimensional stability with a lower coefficient of linear thermal expansion, and higher deformation under load. Carbon filled grades of PTFE are less abrasive to mating surfaces in bearing applications, as opposed to glass filled PTFE.
