PVDF - KYNAR 740
Kynar PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride) is a fluorinated thermoplastic resin which has exceptional resistance to most mineral and organic acids, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, halogenated solvents, and oxidizing environments. It also has outstanding aging resistance, and fire-resistant properties. PVDF provides UV and gamma radiation stability and very high dielectric and piezoelectric constants. It is FDA compliant, non-toxic and can be used in repeated contact with food products. It has good mechanical properties in tension as well as in deflection, torsion, and compression and will not swell or alter in a wet environment.
