DELRIN 500AF BLEND
Delrin® 500AF is very similar to Delrin® 100AF in that the material performs exceedingly well in bearing or low friction applications that also require good strength and dimensional stability characteristics. Containing PTFE fibers, this modified acetal homopolymer material has slightly more crystalline structure than Delrin® 100AF, so therefore exhibits slightly higher strength and modulus, as well as improved machining characteristics. It is designed for applications requiring low wear and / or low friction against steel, itself or other plastics. Target industries include conveyor technology, automative industry, business machines, heavy duty industry, printing machines, packaging and paper machinery.
